Early detection program for cervical cancer in the Community of Madrid
Cervical cancer takes more than 10 years to develop, so there is a long time to detect, treat and cure it. This infection does not produce discomfort or symptoms, therefore, the way to know its existence is through screening.
Early detection program for breast cancer of the Community of Madrid
Breast cancer is a major health problem, affecting one in 10 women in their lifetime. The frequency of occurrence of this type of tumor increases with age. We cannot prevent it from appearing, but we can detect it when it is small in size, and cure is achieved in more than 80% of cases. Mammography is the best early detection test currently available. With it we can detect 90-95% of tumors, even if they are very small.
Network of integral attention for gender violence of the Community of Madrid
The network of comprehensive care for gender violence in the Community of Madrid is made up of the centers for victims of gender violence and the 55 municipal points of the Regional Observatory of Gender Violence, through which different counseling and care services are offered to victims and their families.
