Care Map Web Portal
What is it?
Online platform (web portal) that centralizes information on care available in Spain, both at State and regional level, facilitating knowledge of and access to the different resources and services available.
The CARE MAP of the Women’s Institute groups the available information in a simple, practical, useful and attractive way to facilitate access to the different resources, services, aids or benefits related to the care of minors, the elderly and dependent persons. Information is sometimes scattered and not easily accessible, so the map also includes not only information on available resources, but also on the procedures or steps needed to access them.
Of great value, therefore, are the guides and explanations on how to access the different resources, explaining in a clear and simple way the different procedures to follow and/or which institutions or entities to turn to in order to cover care needs, as well as those of support to caregivers.
To whom is it addressed?
To all citizens, both to those who need to helpful and interesting information to cope with the care of children, elderly or dependent persons, whether temporary or long-term, as well as for professional and non-professional caregivers, since the portal also provides information on different training and support resources.
What is your goal?
Visibility and to enhance the value of care work and the different existing resources, making them more accessible to citizens in general, but also to caregivers and cared-for persons, thus also facilitating the reconciliation between work and personal and family life, contributing to greater equality between women and men.
Its purpose is not to be a mere compilation of links, but to offer added value by presenting information categorized and treated, with explanations and clarifications on the procedures for accessing the various resources and services, so that it is easy to understand for all users, facilitating access to the various care resources.
The CARE MAP of the Women’s Institute contains the possibility of reporting errors and suggestions, so that, as far as possible, its contents can be updated.
