EIGE’s CARE Survey 2024 provides up-to-date data on how women and men across the European Union organise unpaid care work and household tasks, as well as on their use of formal and informal care services. It also considers the impact of these responsibilities on everyday life, employment, the use of leisure time and people’s well-being.

This guide provides a clear and practical overview of the main leave entitlements and rights associated with balancing personal, family and working life. It is designed to make information more accessible to both employers and employees, while helping to foster more equal workplaces based on shared responsibility.

Contributory family benefit which consists of considering periods of up to 3 years of leave of absence to care for children, the first 3 years of leave of absence to care for other family members and the increase up to 100% of the contributions made in certain cases of reduction of working hours to care for a minor or disabled person.

This card, nominative and non-transferable, will give you access to discounts on your trips and is priced at 6 €. It can be purchased at station ticket offices or travel agencies, upon presentation of the certificate, disability card or supporting documentation. It is valid for one year.
