Urgent care resources for women victims of gender violence
The 112 hotline for battered women provides, in urgent situations, a rapid and effective response to women victims of gender violence and their minor children, coordinating the actions of health, social, legal and psychological assistance services as well as police protection and providing them, if necessary, with emergency accommodation.
Care centers for women victims of gender violence
In the Canary Islands there is a network of specialized public services for the social care of victims of gender violence, with services on each island, free and confidential, where all forms of gender violence and sexual violence are attended to.
To access them it is not necessary to file a complaint. All women can ask for help or information, whatever their situation, circumstances or nationality.
