The State Administration, through the Imserso, as part of its active ageing policy, is promoting a Social Programme of holidays for the elderly, with the aim of facilitating the incorporation of this group into the tourist industry, while at the same time alleviating the consequences of seasonality in the country’s tourism sector in terms of employment.
